Our programmes provide full aftercare and support
At Capio Nightingale, we recognise the need for a practical treatment programme and we provide support for a range of life problems including family problems, employment and financial concerns.
We also extend our support and care to partners and families.
Detoxification
Detoxification is the first step in treatment if a patient is physically dependent on alcohol - withdrawal symptoms will occur when drinking stops.
This can be provided as an inpatient or outpatient service and is supervised by trained medical specialists.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation treatment involves group and individual therapy to help patients understand the psychological and biological aspects behind their drinking and attitudes to alcohol. This treatment encourages self-esteem, relapse prevention, development of support systems and an awareness of problems resulting from alcohol addiction.
Relapse prevention helps patients avoid a return to alcohol use. People most commonly relapse when they experience a negative emotion such as frustration, anger, anxiety or depression. We provide patients with the skills and tools to maintain a lifetime recovery.
If you are concerned about your use of alcohol, or about the drinking habit of a close friend or family member, you can speak to a member of our team on 0800 783 0594, or send a confidential email to enquiries@nightingalehospital.co.uk.
